2025 Books in Review

Satisfying year! Some business books, some art, some romance. 32,352 pages listened and read.

I read 86 books this year, 22 books less than last year, but still a decent number! I also DNF’ed quite a few, it was very freeing!

Here are some standouts:

  1. Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals, by Oliver Burkeman I really loved this quote: “Choose uncomfortable enlargement over comfortable diminishment whenever you can.”
  2. Art & Fear: Observations on the Perils (and Rewards) of Artmaking, by David Bayles and Ted Orland I bought this book in college, and it’s been through many moves. Extremely gratifying to have read this finally!
  3. Heated Rivalry (Game Changers #2), by Rachel Reid Yes, I’m obsessed with the TV show. Yes, the book lived up to the hype.
  4. Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism, by Rachel Maddow Fingers crossed we do that again????
  5. Devils Inc., by Lauren Palphreyman Honestly just loved the concept of accidentally selling your soul for free wifi.
